To get better success when whiting fishing use a Swivel. Run you sinker above the swivel and then run approx 300-400mm to hook from swivel. This allows the line to be on the bottom and the bait to move around with the current. Better hook up rate

I fished there a lot, fish at the run out tide using mullet or prawns and u might catch some nice flathead

Make sure when you pull the knot tight you wet the line with some spit. It is a VERY good habit to get into Mrs Warriorz because the friction from pulling tight can score the line and weaken it. And I thought I was good at finding shells. But Nate is WAAAAAYYYY better.

@Jordan Tierney Jordan, everyone I know does it, every knot tying video has it, my Grandfather told me to do it 40 years ago. It isn't about it getting wet when you cast it out mate. It is about the line heating up so much from the friction of rubbing against itself that it can damage the line and weaken the knot. I hope you are well Brother. Stay safe.
