I wasn't gonna tell this story, but I guess I will now. I saw Elmo at the semi-annual bacon sale and he saie "Is Richard out there fishin today?". I told him he probably was, and Elmo said "Once this 20lb of bacon freezes, I'm gonna get out there!"

I caught a 9 pound 8 ounce largemouth bass from the bank using a pumpkinseed worm yesterday. Biggest bass i ever caught. If i had the money I would have got it mounted but Im broke as usual so I let him go. Always love your videos brother. God bless you and mama sue. I wish y'all all the love and happiness that life can bring

My biggest was 9 pounds even on a black spring lizard. That was 52 years ago. I was 12. lol
@sydurgraham77606 ай бұрын
Honestly man, they don't really "mount" fish. From my understanding, they just make a wood carving and paint it as realistically to the fish as possible. But you're not taking home a real mount like say a buck head.
@Bassassinator6 ай бұрын
Next time, take photos from every angle and use fishing line to record the length and girth of the fish. That is all they need to make a mount. The rest is art. That way, if you do get the money later, you can still get it done! Great catch, btw!
@dip30ful5 ай бұрын
There is a cheaper option if u have pictures and measurements of the fish. U can send them to replica mount taxidermy people. They have plastic bass in every size imaginable and they paint them to match the photos you send them.

Great Video, Richard! Really nice fish Bud! It is nice to release those Fish yet, I would have kept one of the smaller Ones for some GOOOOOOD EATIN'! I enjoy fresh caught fish so I have a method where I will keep half the legal creel limit and release the rest. For instance, in Vermont, where I live, it is legal to keep five Bass, but I will keep 2. I also will let Bass go that are over 18 inches long and keep the 12-14-inch Ones. God bless You and Your Family and KEEEEP FISHIN' 'cause it's GOOOOOD fer YOU!

got to tell you my fish story==was in boat in ohio with hubby and his brother in early 70,s fishing the little Miami river.....well I had one of those thick black worms on but it had white dots on it. Well I looked along the edge of the bank where a limb hung over and seen a biggg swirl....and I knew BIG MUSKIE!!!---I casted that worm and BOOM! it hit with all it had and down the river he pulled that boat all the time hubby screaming==GET IT UP HERE!! SHOOT!! am a small person and it was all I could do to hold that fish....well got it up to the boat and it threw hook and all😥😥ohhh well it was worth the try....God bless and watch those swirls..lol
