Does that current ever flow through to the channel side the opposite way you are showing?
@BeforeOutdoors8 ай бұрын
Yes! Flows towards the channel on an incoming tide. Flows towards the beach on an outgoing

Is matching the bait crucial in these situations?
@BeforeOutdoors2 жыл бұрын
That’s a hard question. Some people say yes and others say it doesn’t matter at all. I don’t think it ever hurts to Match the hatch though. I usually just go by size lure and then water color. If it’s small glass minnows I’ll throw a small profile bait, if it’s mid sized mullet everywhere I’ll throw a normal 5 inch soft plastic. Most important to me though, is picking colors based off the water clarity! Brown water=darker colors. Clear water=either natural colors or lighter translucent colors .

Every single time I anchor there I have to cut it. I can't pull mine back in. Do you ever run into that problem?

I’ve Never anchored up at the jetty, always just spot lock the trolling motor!
