Fishing Hastings MN For White Bass and Crappie 2023

I went out to check out the River and the Lake to see if it was any good as there was about to be rain for the next 2 days, so I figured the fish would be pressured to eat. However, it turns out it was really flooded, and the fishing was really slow. Others caught about 1 or 2 crappies, and most were dinky size.

Just recently moved here and had seen a few posts about it having crappie so I went out to test for the first time. But yeah from the looks of it ,it's pretty dead. But could just be temperature and the timing isn't ideal yet.

The lake side doesn’t hold anything big for spinner besides pike otherwise sometimes the crappie can be good but no slabs
