Fishing in Below Zero Temperatures

Join me as I fish for rainbows in below zero temperatures. I started the day fishing in minus twelve degree Celsius temperatures with a slight breeze.
I love casting spoons for rainbows, but my eyelets on my rod kept icing over so I trolled spoons until the sun came up and caught some nice fish.
I caught one of my biggest rainbows this day in the late morning.

I'm glad you like them. I normally fish Dragon in the Fall from September to when the lake freezes. Late October to Early November can be some.of the most productive (but very cold) times.

Other great video thanks for sharing I have a question I have almost the same boat 14ssv lund with your downriggers where they are can you see your weights on your fishfinder ? And like to see your portable fishfinder set up, only ask because I don't have my boat yet set up ,thanks for any help

I'm glad you liked it. Sometimes I can see my weight on my fish finder, which is not a big deal to me. I usually just run my fish finder in a manual depth setting and this help the finder from jumping around all the time.
