Dude you gotta keep these fish in the water a little more Lol my best method is keeping the net dipped in the water halfway or intermittently..esp w pictures/handling and such haha these trout ain’t quite got the catfish and bass lungs they die easy

Definitely not as important as native fish like idrc or mean to give you guff but if you ever get into the big browns or special fish i like to let em breath a bit
