We were using the 3 oz ball jigs...current was ripping in middle Tampa Bay area! Caught many short gags...then the bite mostly shutoff the rest of the day with a few short flurries of bites.

Wow shark infested shallow waters and eels crawling up on land to snatch your fish?! I had no idea they could do that, that definitely kills my future plans of ever getting stupid drunk and passing out on the beach haha. This is one of the wildest and fun filled adventures I've seen, very good work!

how is the fishing around cockroach bay area and all in january? I missed taking my dad in october due to the storm and his health. i want to get him back down there asap. he loves that place. Also, thank you for the fishing videos!

Typically winter is our favorite time of year to fish. The only issue is timing the cold fronts. Cold front passes, we usually get two days of clear blue sky and lots of wind.
