Nice meeting you out there! If you’re curious, the exact swimbait you saw me using was a 2” squirming shad from bass pro on a standard 1/8 oz jighead. Near perfect imitation for the minnows that stack at the WI river dams.

I've only fished there at night for catfish. Started out with crawlers and used cutbait white bass from there. I fished right after the river makes a turn and did pretty good. During the daytime too many tourist boats come flying in and make a big turn and stop in that spot and screw up fishing the bottom.

Remember fishing and catching walleyes near there back in the early 80s. Spent most of the time fishing in Minnesota but we got around. Pennsylvania walleye fishing is overrated but still ok.(Never liked the 15" minimum here in Pennsylvania because the 12"+ are delicious 🤤. )

I believe the DNR slot limits in these waters is a factor to why these fisheries are world class
