Eric, I appreciate your videos and hope to be out with my LT-25 in May catching delicious mangrove snapper.

It’s always nice seeing good local content. I’m over in Bonita and I mainly freshwater fish. However, I’ve been trying to get more and more into salt fishing. I’m trying to connect with other local fishermen to just have people to fish with but also to see if I could learn a thing or two.

Nice sno at the end. Sea deck makes a 48 inch ruler. You can get them off Amazon. I bought one for my lt25. And it's great for measuring bigger sno.

Just got an LT25, and am new to FL, do you ever keep fish for eating? Ono the West Coast we do allot of catch and release too, but usually we bring home dinner. Can’t wait to get on the water and start exploring. Need saltwater gear though.

My wife and I just moved to Bonita in Nov of 2021 and we recently got our saltwater fishing license. 2 weeks ago we rented a pontoon and fished all over Esteror Bay, the passes, pilings, docks, etc. and didn't catch any keepers. We got 1 jack and a tiny snook in 6hrs of boat fishing. Last weekend we shored fished the passes (Hickory & New pass) and didn't catch a thing. We were using live shrimp, topwater, and rubber minnows and still had no luck. Does the excessive boat traffic affect the fishing or are we just not hitting the right places yet?

I used to fish estaro bay and new pass a good amount back in the day. Boat traffic definitely is heavier there and a lot of the shore spots are overfished. Try fishing canals/creeks that branch off the bays.

I like your videos. I think you do a good job the only thing I wish you would do differently is to take the time to release the little guys the same way as you do the big ones. That's all I wish you would change.
