We must have passed each other on the road on Saturday. Wife and I live in Pilot Point. We actually drove out to Mariner Sails on Saturday to dream about Hobies and Old Towns. They guys said that G had his boat in there earlier in the week. So cool to see your video on Ray Bob! We’ve only been here two years and I barely know the lake. We normally fish in a Tracker but we bought a couple fishing kayaks last year and really enjoy them. You are an inspiration to me and especially to my wife who has become a bit of a fishing fanatic in the last year. We hope to see you out on the water sometime. Perhaps you can come back to Ray Bob for the Classic next March? That would be awesome!

Your amazing angler. I have no words to explain. Just amazing to pull one out the park at the last moments. I caught one fish on a laydown that was 2’ of water 9 other kayakers fished and didn’t catch and I Caught him on a shaky head. After that I couldn’t catch anything over 11.75

Any North Texas lake when the water temps are in the low 50's and you don't know the lake, spinnerbait, med crank or a craw rat-l-trap. 2-8 foot of water. Cover lots of water.

I've had great luck with a small bait ball and 3 inch cray imitations so far, but the bait ball tells me that they are chasing baits in South Texas, spinnerbaits should rule right now.

You bet! The main one was a 1/2 oz Berkley Compact spinner bait- the compact is important, it’s a smaller profile. Double willow (one gold one silver) Shad imitation. For half of the day I used a power swimmer trailer, other half I didn’t use a trailer
