Me personally just starting out at 63 years old??? I can see the Echo at the $150+ price point, being a more realistic upgrade. But I’m honestly excited thinking about casting my Martin combo for the first time. Loving your videos. You’re hooking followers on your channel as well as fish on the fly. I live a short drive from the main TFO shop/factory, best warranty in the industry. I’ll be buying a TFO 4 weight next spring for trout fishing. Fire as always. So glad to see another angler interested in more then just 1 kind of fishing.🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥as always.$ 60 if it’s the but section that breaks.$25 if any other piece breaks. You made a smart choice. Wow your lady was just smiling like crazy with that fish. I think she is hooked too. Plus she outfished you again!!! Now onto fly tying???? I've never used the reels drag all I've ever done was to palm the reel with my hand.

Some of the reels we have used don’t have strong enough drag to actually be used when fighting and you have to palm them. We are loving fly fishing though!

Sweet video man! I'm still fairly new to fly fishing but I got myself a TFO LK Legacy in 8wt and it's been pretty good to me! A lot heavier than my 4wt trout rod lol! I've caught some smallies on it but more recently some striped bass! They pull so hard on a fly rod it's insane... the TFO rod handles them pretty good
