Fishing Planet #25 - S7 | Ghent-Terneuzen Canal: UNIQUE European Eel & Trophy Zander!
Over the next several episodes, I have decided to I continue on revisiting earlier maps within Fishing Planet to see how much has changed. This includes whether the old fishing hotspots for UNIQUE species still work, and maybe even discover new locations and hotspots!
GHENT-TERNEUZEN CANAL, NETHERLANDS
As with the last episode, I have been checking out the Ghent-Terneuzen Canal, Netherlands map. As I mentioned before, I have not been here for at least a couple of years, and even it seems that they have made a lot of changes to the AI.
In this episode, I am trying to catch the last two types of fish found on this map, the Unique European Eel and the Unique Zander. I start off the Charm of the Industrial spawn point, where in the past used to be a great location for both Unique Zander and and Unique Eels. After an extensive amount of time, I am unable to catch anything bigger than Trophy size, so I move back to the Urban Paradise spawn point and immediately catch a Unique European Eel! However, the Unique Zander continues to be elusive!

I am screaming at the TV asking u to increase your drag and speed to reel in the fish quicker. You have room to increase it but you rather struggle lol

when I'm fishing it says that the bait has moved too far, and the rod is in the holder, do you know what it could be?

Congrats im currently working on the same last 2 to finish map, lol been a pain trying to catch the eel ill try this spot and sub you also thx buddy Edit: I can confirm that the spot is accurate for urban paradise i caught a 9.11 unique eel evening time just before the start of peak at 485.39, -452.44 by the windmills, plenty of trophy eels flounder etc just to the right of 2nd windmill, the time was at 5pm on a cloudy day so it does not matter what time you catch this it's more to the point thats its cloudy and on peak times from other videos I've looked into, u will need 0.35 line, with a +3oz sinker to reach the zone but you will and can get this with patients if you follow all steps in video

@@HawkeyeM currently working on unique Zander right now trophy picked up on medium spoon 1/2 oz #3.0 color: rainbow at 487.49, -460.83 just north of this location is a unique I'm now hunting around 481, -488 so gl bud 👍
