Fishing Planet #44 - S5: The MONSTER Carp Colossus of Weeping Willow Fisheries!
** THE MONSTER CARP COLOSSUS FINALE! **
After catching the SIX Unique versions of SIX separate carp species, I finally have what I need to catch the Monster Colossus Carp, the ingrediants to make the Stomach Groundbait!
Taking cues from both KZbin research and my viewers, I have put together what is necessary (and safe) in preparing to capture the big guy!
Carp Colossus Prep:
- Have as many heavy-duty bottom and/or carp rods as possible
- All rods need to have between #0/6 to #0/10 hooks or carp hooks
- Start at the Arbor Lake peg and head North below the three deep holes
- Prepare your Stomach Groundbait. Use ONLY 50% and mix with the aroma of your choice
- Any of the Carp's favorite baits should work. I used pop-up tiger nuts and fishmeal
- Move time forward to just before the top of the peak period
As seen in this episode, you may catch other carp species! This and the fact that every time you reel in you use up groundbait is why I suggest only using 50% of your stomach groundbait in mixing. You don't want to have to do that Stomach Groundbait Mission again!
Be patient. When he does bit, you will be fighting him for a long, long time!

i cant believe it,i did the missions and got the stomach ground bait but i didnt catch the colossus with it,i caught it using tigernut popup,i made the groundbait and used corn and end up catching it with other bait lolol

I was surprised I caught him at all. My knowledge of using any groundbait is practically nil! We just don't use it here in the states!

@@HawkeyeM yeah my family owns an island on the allegheny river in Pennsylvania and we,ve always caught carp on nightcrawlers, guess that,s a universal bait for almost any fish lol

@@okflashy6369 lol thats ok,as a kid when the water was high and would flood the low parts of the island,when the water went down it always left a pond and myself and couple cousins would line up and we would put our hands in the water and catch carp by hand,it was very murkey and soft mud on the bottom and so we couldnt see what we were catching,were times we would get stung by bullhead,one time a cousin and i thought we were kicking a log,he reached down and pulled out a snapping turtle,man was that thing hissing,he threw that thing in a hurry,we didnt realize just how lucky we were

I had the monster on a carp rod and it runway and it said on the top of the screen to upgrade the rods but carp rods it's only 1 rod wich os the horizon 420 ....

Caught him 3 times. Lol broke off the first two and on my 3rd never caught him because the fight lasted 3hrs and 53mins before I turned off the game 😢

Hey dude... I am 57 years old and can't remember every spot with great detail. I am actually very stingy with the markers. Check out some of the the bigger guys and you will see markers everywhere!
