Happy 5k, I've caught a couple of these cats in the shark Hotspot at night but this may be better. I'm way under level so I've been doing what I can with my saltwater March rod and the casadora from this new boat. I think the best exp grind with low level rods is the wolf fish using heavy chaser rods at about 1000 exp per large normal or small trophy. Bull sharks from shore I'm sure are next best but you do need better rods for that. The wait from the boat is long but it helps being able to reel them in faster. And they are big exp. The aripima are a good middle ground of exp and cash and can be caught back to back with a float setup from a boat in 1 location. I am more of an actual outdoors fisherman so fishing planet is for when the weather doesn't cooperate with my schedule lol. Level 50. Hope to hit 51 tonight. I'm making about half a level a night with the exp from this dlc. Hopefully ican make it to south America so I can continue to farm big exp fish. So I'm not stuck in California farming Sturgeon with a buggy rod pod at 400 exp a fish. Lol

A follow up, there are a ton more cats here. And they are hefty boys that net you about 1000 exp each or better. Reeling them in from shore takes a long time and I've had several get away. Heavy chasers and the heavier leviathan reels will do the job and I've been putting on 80 lb test line and leaders when I have them. A good exp grind is day peak hours at shark Hotspot then night peak hours at this hot spot. I can usually get 2 sharks day side then fill my net with piraiba dumping the small fish at the end of night to exploit the glitch that let's your net go over weight as Long as you have a ounce or more of room left. Then drive back to shark hot spot and jump to day peak again. I'm gaining levels but not as fast as I wanted, alot of real life stuff has come up. And weather has been so nice I've been irl fishing and broke a pb last night.
