A tip: If you're having trouble with fish not biting on float rod when holding it in hand, put it in a rod stand slot and it will almost always secure bite. Just be ready to pick it up!

If you put to small of a bobber on a float rod the bait goes to the Bottom and it works, so I've been playing since 2017 and done this many times and it works I catch fish like this every time I do it so bottom fishing is available to newbies...

The teloscopic rod is also a float rod and the feeder rod is basically an early game bottom rod as it can use sinkers. The teloscopic rod caps out at 12 or 13 lbs. The feeder rod is up to level 27 while the bottom feeder starts at the early 30's.

You can actually use a feeder rod with a sinker as an early game bottom rod. Great for trout, walleye, and early catfish

Yeah the early feeder rods aren't too bad at all, I generally find new players tend to stay away from them cause they look a bit more confusing.

If one has both a bottom rod and a match rod at exactly the same line/drag strenght, which is more effective, more powerfull for reeling fish in? I'm level 78 so talking about endgame.

so they let you buy a bell right from level one but you can't buy the only rod you can use it on until like level30? that makes no sense.

You can put bells on feeder rods which unlock earlier

Why my free floaty from early in game dings without a bite but the ding indicates a near bite which never happens sometimes. I'm lost on what to do & just wait for the bite.

Go into your options and turn off the bite alarm. that dings whenever you get a nibble and I find it annoying. Wait to strike until your bobber goes crazy and under the water.

All I did was collect one of each but it's crazy because if there are 8 poles in all why do we only get 7 slots 🤔

i see all these fp players fishing with 4 bottom rods,i only fish one bottom rod sometimes 2 and fish for one day at the waterway,im not rushing myself to leval up,building my wallet up slowly

I prefer bottom rods to float rods, so I usually use 4 bottom rods and bring a spinning setup with me to keep myself busy!

How come every video made about this game no matter who made it is in metric? I'm American and I us imperial weights and measures not metric so I have no ideal whats going on half the time in all of these videos, you sound American yet your game interface is metric its confusing period and dont tell me to switch I'm 60+ and I'm imperial till I die.
