I found out you can troll. Throw out rods,start trolling, stay on bridge watching poles. When you see a bite that stays,drop anchor,go down and reel in fish. As long as you drop anchor before you start reeling the fish count.

I tried the mission today and its not giving me credit for the fish i catch. I guess its bugged for me somehow.

I use stop and go on the just off the bottom and that seems to be working for me at the moment.
