Dave: Have a tale to tell. A long time ago, I finished 30 days at St Croix and the award was the X Medium #6/0 spoon. Recently, I could not find the x spoon in my inventory. I know I did not lose 5 spoons. Only way I could get the spoon was to podium in 2 comps that I fish or email FP of the missing spoons. They replied Dec 31, that I had completed the mission and did receive the spoon. A possible conspiracy theory starts when I entered, with 50 others, Midnight Galore (has the x spoon) on New Years Eve/day at 1 AM. After spending 10 game min trying to get a small Pink, I changed servers to metric. Got a 3 lber. Went to the far island and pulled a 74 lb, King on 1st cast. Went back and got a 2.5 lb Pink with 5 min to spare. I had to ask Alexia to convert because I had NO Idea what 33.5 or 1.4kg is in lbs, lol. The results was 1st place (only have 12 podiums in 6 yrs). NOW, I have 1-5 to get the x spoon. What are the chances. I always get the fishing line, but not tonight! I got the X medium spoon!!! Summary: I fish on New Years Eve at 1am, switch servers, get 2 winning fish and the 1-5 prize is the lure I wanted and emailed to FP about. Was this Lotto luck or was it RNG magic dust, giving me the spoon. I might have used up all my lotto luck for the next 10 years, Lol. Sorry for the novel but had to tell this tale as in D’tale1.
