Fishing Planet - Mission #17 Salmon Hunt: Spoon Lure

0:00 White Moose - Catch Atlantic Salmon 7 kg+. Casting from the doc between the campfires did it for me.
1:24 Catch Salmon 20 kg+ Medium and single spoons work. I was trying during peak day hours and got a unique on the red tiger.
3:03 Kaniq - Catch Chum Salmon 10 kg+. Right of the spawn spot little bit downstream is where I got it. Again peak day hours.
4:20 San Joaquin -catch Chinook Salmon 15 kg+. I used the kayak here. I didn’t get a single trophy on day hours. Took three trophies at night to get big enough Chinook. Single spoons got me more Chinook than the medium spoons.

11:45pm, clear single hump evening I followed this exactly and first cast was a trophy bass and second was a 35lb trophy salmon, tried 3 days from the spawn and didn’t have any luck but this was perfect! Well done 👍

Thanks Bulkan. At San Joaquin, the purple and black single spoon definitely makes a difference. Fished for several in game days at & around peak hours. Using the red & yellow tiger mediums, and the Trophy single spoon. I caught 1 common Chinook salmon. Left and bought the featured spoon. On the return I caught lots of Chinooks and 3 Trophies :)

Great spot buddy, for striped bass that is, you must have got lucky here. I got 5 striped bass and quickly moved on and the other thing is that there is absolutely no point in wasting time kayaking to the spot when you can spawn in at the dam wall and fish from the rocks.

Fabian Timmins, thanks for the tip, my friend. I remember that one well. I struggled to get the salmon of the rocks for some reason. But Like you say it is faster to spawn at the dam and get the fish without the kayak being used.

@@mrsspiritwolf try spawn sacks. Go to the middle island and throw in front of the weeds on the left. Hope that makes sense. Good luck
