At the end of your video, I noticed you caught that Tarpon on a Buzzbait. Seeing as it's a fairly new type of lure, there isn't much info on how to fish with it or what kind of technique the Tarpon like. Any help?

what ive found personally is that alot of fish including tarpon go for it when your twitching it

I caught 5 unique tarpon in 1 game day, they do bite off peak. Best spot is out at end of map. Caught all them with buzzbait.

PARTLY CLOUDY 16:00-17:00 on the middle mangrove spot uni tarpon. cords -742.56 572.19 have fun . i just caught uni at the same spot on CLOUDY day same time 16-17.

It's the small mangrove "forest" in the middle of the lake. When u start from the Dock going to the end of the lake its on the left side. U can't miss it. on the map its 2 similar black dots on lighter color blue

This is awesome kp but can you teach us how to farm money and xp in this lake? my 7 days permit the dlc gave me is almost running out and I'm still having trouble to farm there :(

I will but not sure the video will be made before the 7 days. Tomorrow wolcen will launched and i'm going to play that game. Btw Partly cloudy spot 5-7 am and then 5 Pm, 3 bottoms rods 2 bobbers. Large minnows and crab gave me 440 kg in 4.5 hours ing.

Go with a craw, its works really well, And if you still need to level take a barbless jighead, its gives 20 procent more xp.

@@KpShamino ty for your help I just got my first uni tarpon at the cloudy day but I was farming at the part cloudy spot at 20:45 8/0 hook with large minnow on bobber 0.8m I hope it helps anyone and ty again kp! :D

Your vids are great man! Keep it up! I have only had a chance to fish 2 days on Mississippi so far. I managed to fill up my new 1100 lb net, but only made a little more money than I was getting at weeping willow while using the 660 lb net. I was getting mostly permit, tarpon, drum and bonefish. Maybe another species is a better farm? I also watched a poor soul fight a unique tarpon for an hour (real time) with the best bottom rod set up and finally give up. Is there any sort of stamina system for these fish? I don't mind a good fight, but not a never ending one.

Fp never had a true stamina system so if your gear can't handle the fish because it's too big you're toast. What happens is that the fish will stop taking line from time to time and that's the opportunity you have to reel it in. Then, it will take off again and hopefully won't take as much line as you've reeled earlier so that means you're gaining a few meters at a time. If after 10-15 min rl it's not landed yet you can be pretty much 99% certain it will not be possible to land it because it's too big so you can already cut line or alt+f4. That's how they force you to keep buying new stronger gear and dlcs.

The stamina system works like this. You need a certain setup for a fish, if you don't have it you cannot land the fish.

If you fish from a boat and don't drop the anchor you can catch big fish by pulling yourself toward them instead of pulling them to you. Before I got the bass boat I caught tons of huge fish in Michigan by letting them tow me around in the kayak. Now that I have the bass boat, I can chase them down while reeling them in and nothing gets away. Even if you have good enough gear to bring it in, moving your boat can make it happen faster, sometimes much faster. It might not be the most efficient method, re-positioning all the time, but it's fun and effective. 🎣
