Yes it’s more than possible. I refuse to have to pay to progress. I watch your older videos and just farm the good locations. Travel as little as possible to help build the money up.

started playing this with my 10 and 8 year old. we were not able to get out this year to do any actual fishing. so i figured this would be a fun adventure. we followed along and it really did help. the first 5 lures snapped off every time. each fish i hooked would break the line. i could not figure out what we were doing wrong. turns out it was the tension on the drag. once we turned it down to low for the hook set and increased it during the fight everything worked out fine. thanks again.

Hi, in Lone Star Lake use pet food in the same spot you were fishing, fishing red ear sunfish, they give you far more experience than fishing spotted bass, so you can level up faster and no need to buy another rod or reel

Smallmouth Buffalo should give you good XP too, and they're really easy to catch once you know how to get them.

I feel like lesni is the best place for under lvl 15 cause it supplies a lot of good sized fish and it's fun for trying to get carp larger then 2 pounds

Found solution to my shopping issue. As a new player, I was shopping locally instead of globally. Hope that helps someone else find their #2 hooks.

Yeah each lake has its own shop then there the shop when you aren't at a lake. The shop lakes are also more expensive

I'm Lv 16, still at Lonestar, reason, keep getting cut off, and cannot use rod rest or ledger rods, game keep crashing, so getting to Lv 20, get that big sliding float, then move on to other lakes

I thought the title meant no in game money spent as a challenge and I was interested. Getting to max level without spend IRL money is no different than with money, just takes longer

That would be impossible due to repair/bait costs also you would never be able to upgrade any equipment to catch fish that actually give XP. You also wouldn't be able to travel or buy and advanced license so yeah impossible lol

Zabby I found out that you have to go to a map were you can rent or use a kayak and you can just go in a circle for awile and then it will pop up on the screen (it takes awile)

I disagree about the "Peak Times" You can catch fish all day, and if you want to make a profit, in most cases you should.

You def can catch fish all day, generally once you get further in the game with multiple rod setups you can fill the keepnets fast and I only fish peaks unless it's a specific situation like Sturgeon in Cali.
