Still haven't gotten any of the DLCs but but have been considering maybe one or two of them for cool variants of rods I use frequently. Though can say that that Club Series glow shad is amazing for Nile Perch on the Congo. Maybe down the road be grabbing that DLC just so I can grab as much of the club series stuff as i can.

i bought the golden pack years ago,i cant remember what leval i was at but i unlocked blue crab,only rod/reel setup i used was the heaviest golden bottom rod/reel setup,i was at my 21rst day,the golden bottom setup was at 10 durability,i had over $800k in money so i skipped days to 30,it costed $80,000 to repair everything

The starter pack @ just around $10US is great for beginners. It gives you a lot of things you have not unlocked yet and gear to make farming more fish per day.

I would just add that the most important thing you can buy for the game is the Premium Account, for those of us still leveling up. The XP bonus is a massive benefit. Technically not DLC, because there is not any content, but defiantly worth the cash.

soopa dave,when using ground bait do you have to fill up all other slots...paticles,aromas..you cant just have a ground bait?

soopa dave,i still wish it showed what fish you have to catch to catch all species of fish at each waterway on the waterway screen so you dont have to keep going back to the home tab

Bought the Sportspack long time ago. Never used it. Sold the lines for baitcoins, but couldn't assemble the template after that. There's no rods in there that you cant buy in the shop for free. Maybe its good for competitions, idk, never do those. But useless for leveling. Best DLC imho is the Premium account. 50% XP and cash is unrivaled by any dlc.

Only packs worth buying are boat packs. Everything else (that matters) you can buy with in game money and is a waste of $$.

Had a question does using a heavy rod..say a Tropicana for 4 lb fish make setting the hook harder vs using a lighter rod like a jig winner
