I can add one thing regarding the new boat that I didn't mentioned in the video. I recommend to use ghost colors on boat if you wanna use it for hunting since it gonna be hard to see the arrow from the creature locator.

Hi larand, I have a question, So I don’t have key to the city sadly yet but I’m trying to get the ss mary ann. I’m currently at 136/150, I’m using the ice queen rod. i played all yesterday and haven’t gotten any new mutation variations. any tips to get the boat quicker or no. love you’re videos btw, best of luck

Since all the fishes around Monsters are outside you can draw benefits from using boats. Do you have any useful boats? A for myself I used the Sleigh a lot outside Port Jackson since I put focus on reeling speed when I got my Key to the City. I did that together with the Crystal Rod to get a very fast speed when fishing. But in general its a pain to get new variations and sometimes when you get closer to the goal it may take several days to get a new variation.

Sometimes rods can behave bad on some servers. Have you tried a different server also, some servers are bad and could mess with both rods and spears?

How to earn shards fast? I did not earn shards this week cause i failed to catch 10 baby clownfish. I fished all day, all week and got 1/10. :( Thanks

Currently the most popular way is to do the Raygan Special quest. It will give you 20 shards and to be able to do the quest you need to be level 40+ since you need to be able to reach all zones. Raygan has different quests on different servers so you can search for quests that you prefere by switching servers and you can do up to 3 quests each week. (60 shards per week is maximum)
