I have a channel ledge near me in upper Tampa Bay that goes from 25' to 40' very quickly. Should I be fishing up on the upper side of the drop off (25') or the bottom of the drop-off (40')? I noticed you guys are usually fishing in 45' of water, but I see most ppl anchored up on the top side of the drop off.

It all depends. I was out two days ago and the bite was good for grouper in 45' but the snapper bite was not good. So I moved us into 29' of water and actually had the snapper chummed up behind the boat.

I fish the channel right outside that port in my kayak. Get some big snapper there.

Tampa Bay Fishing Channel does the job I’m with freedom boat club and their depth finders are junk thought about getting a go pro so I can find so

You should try using the water wolf, it would provide much better imaging than a go pro

That was old footage that I had to reuse because I could not find the original. So from now on the video will be much better.
