Nice video and gorgeous weather. I have fished some of those spots myself and caught some lovely fish. One spot there, I first fished 40 years ago and it still produces a bit now. Well done.

Just found your channel and your fishing videos are well put together and presented...I'm shocked you've only got 330 subscribers...but if you keep up what you're doing then there will be many more subs to come, I'm up in Launceston Cornwall and get out sea fishing when I can...and also river fishing for trout on the localish rivers, great work and happy fishing, #Paulbhustlin85

Popped down Helford Passage earlier in the week, chucked a few lures around, just doing my bit, dredging some weed from the river. Some bloke further along the shore told me some fanciful story about people catching bass and other types of fish on lures. Sounds like hokum to me! Great content, especially with it being so local (Scorrier) to us. I am catching me some gilts this year. This is not up for negotiation. Gilts WILL be landed. Gilts WILL be eaten. I have spoken.

I luv fishing like this and to a point yea its about getting out and enjoying the day but it is fishing and the idea is to catch fish! And luckily enough I catch good fish virtually all the time and that rounds a good time off for me!🏴☠️👍

Enjoyed that mate. Honest video with an easy presenting manner. Have subbed will check out your other vids.
This is my kind of KZbin! Hope you are able to put another gilt effort on for us - I am yet to ever catch one myself after several attempts. What about mullet on a fly rod while you wait?

Another great video, only found your channel today. I blanked twice and had one tiny bass last week going after the gilt up the Helford. I know some people say that the gilt are usually better on neap tides but I dont know if there's any truth in that. Keep persisting and I look forward to watching you get some gilt soon!
