Well Done! I think we've all had fish on a rod that we were "just about" to wind in. I think if I'd turned up and seen that amount of weed I probably wouldn't have even got the gear out of the car! Loved the little bit of Abba singing, by the way 🙂

Pretty sure it's only trout pellets that are banned. Unless the rules have changed, I was there 2 Saturdays ago and walked straight past lake 2. The porta loo was pretty clean tbh😂

Could you use solid pva bags with boilie crumb and a few halves instead of pellet? I have done this a few times with success on waters where I wasn’t allowed to use pellet. It’s really important to prick the bags as it does seem to catch a lot of air and be lighter than a pellet bag but might be an option?

Fire some old boilies towards the other end of where your fishing and it keeps them away from your swim. Try Shimano pineapple and banana pop-ups.. i could watch you for hrs you really are an extremely beautiful lady

Whoever owns them lakes or ponds should have them dredged once every 5 years & put a chemical for all the weeds in that don’t harm the wildlife or at least slow the growth of the weeds , some places over here in the states did just that .

Showed me a lot about carp fishing & now I know , over here in the states we’re predominantly Large mouth bass fisherman & women ,& cat fish , have you ever heard of fishing for carp with a banana peel , because I’ve heard a lot of people tell me that , never tried it . Over here in the states, Carp tear up all of the Hydrilla weed & it all floats to the top making it hard for Bass fisherman & women to fish without using weedless baits , so most of the lakes do weed control once every 5 years & our counties run the lakes , you must have a license it fish them .
