Good on you Nev, life’s good when you’re out doing what you love. It’s when you’re at home thinking about the things you love to do that you can get down. I’m the same with my veggie garden. It also helps to talk to someone about your problems. Great session on the Perch, thanks for another great year of fishing videos. 👍🏼👍🏼

Some philosophical fishing there Nev. Excellent advice, almost as if nature joined in on the lesson. Work to your strengths and don't walk away from good fortune. Happy New Year, looking forward to following your adventures next Year. You're an inspiration for many, the float rig on the kayak has scored the massive Tassie squid for me, as one example of your invaluable advice, the tenderiser being another.🍻

I've always thought a foul hooked fish is caught. From what I've seen, in most cases the fish performs an aborted strike very close to the lure and their body/fins brushes against the lure or hook as they roll out. That's why most foul hooked fish are hooked in the belly, gill covers or tail wrist. One of the many reasons why I keep hooks as sharp as possible.
