gday mate seen you make a whole lot of vids on wanaka/hawea, where do find most succes fishing off shore/bank? ive been trying out hawea wanaka and the clutha for the last while and having no luck

It's always a bit more challenging from the shore on these lakes but there's definitely a few fish around at the moment to be caught. You can't go wrong fishing where a river or creek comes into or out of the lakes. Try soft baiting if you haven't yet - I've found that works the best for me. We made a video recently at the canals on how to fish with soft baits if you haven't tried it before. Good luck!
