The lovely pink flowers are Rosebay Willowherb (AKA Fireweed) Pro tip; when brashing your way through a wood with a fishing rod carry it butt first - much less likely to break the tip.

Fill the inside of your boots with newspaper or kitchen roll and leave overnight, the more you pack in the better. It's not perfect but gets the insides loads drier. Don't use tissue or toilet roll, it's not strong enough so falls apart when you try to remove it 👍

Hi M8 awesome content and fishing with the family is a massive plus. Im more of a fly fisher but at the moment spinning seems to be getting a lot of trout and salmon on my local river. Can you suggest a good rod and real combo to fish for trout and salmon? Preferably a telescopic as I would like to still have the option to fly fish but can pack the spinning rod to my side and get it out quickly if needed.

Thanks for watching mate! Check out the fish rig max on the rigged and ready website, it sounds perfect for what you want. It’s like the older brother of the one I use here. You can get 10% off with code AFUK10 too
