Hey, is the lure cast weight rating true!? Can you actually cast and use a 15g metal jig with this rod comfortably?

Hi, yes i cast even the 5g minnow it goes for a 10-15 meters distance. The cast on a 10-15g jig could reach the 30 meters easily. I am using a PE0.4 braid line on the baitcaster. It must have a nylon component or coating otherwise it snaps. Try the YGK braid or here i used an indonesian braid named Jabrik from Relix Nusantara that i ap really satisfied from. It never snapped.
