Two and a half years ago I started hearing all the KZbin hype about Whopper Plopper lures. I eventually caved in and bought one. Didn't catch shit with it so I bought another of a different color thinking maybe it was the color that was keeping me from getting bit before. The new color caught nothing either; not even a bite; and it wasn't like I wasn't trying. I'd fish those Whopper Ploppers each time I was out on the water. This went on to a little over two and a half years. Well, just recently I purchased a new bait-casting reel and I was out at a local park-pond practicing how to cast that new reel. After several backlash clearings I finally got to where I could cast that reel semi-confidently. I got a wild hair up my butt and I tied on the Whopper Plopper 75 and continued practicing my casts. About the fifth cast in with the Plopper tied on I actually caught a decent bass. (decent for that little pond I was at) About a year after buying that first Whopper Plopper I had basically given up hope of ever catching anything with it so what I did was I scaled it down with my CAD software and 3D printed some even smaller Whopper Plopper clones. I called them "Micro-Ploppers." I caught fish the first time out with those home made 3D printed Micro-Ploppers and only yesterday was the very first time catching anything with the overpriced store bought Whopper Ploppers. I was glad to see you did so good with your Walmart brand Ploppers. Now that I know that they'll actually catch fish I may go buy a different colored one.

I noticed you said you didn't use them before, what I learned is to real them than pause for a sec or two and they hit on that pause A LOTTTT. I didn't even know Walmart had them.. i spent like $17-$25 per whopper plopper lololol I forget rhe brand but I should try out Walmart instead 😅 I noticed you like the poppers too. 6th sense has some SUPER nice poppers. I bought 2 a couple weeks ago! I think river2sea is in trouble lol these things work like a charm for like a 3rd the price of a genuine river2sea plopper. All they need is a owner stinger treble hook swap and they are the king of the budget sally wacker fishing collection. Im a budget guy as well, why the world would a person spend 12 dollars a pop when theres a 5 dollar carbon copy lurkin haha love the videos my guy! Keep em coming and i'll keep the thumb ups rollin! Ayo I’m a Plopper fisherman, the Berkley Chopo is cheaper than the original Plopper but I think better made! Also, the Bass Pro double down Plopper is at the same price range as the Chopo but has two blades instead of one! It’s also a little heavier so you can get longer casts. I gave away my original Whopper Ploppers, I use only the Chopo and the Bass Pro DD Plopper exclusively.
