I’ve been using these for a while now, specifically the inline leads for my solid bag work in conjunction with there drop off kit/run rig system. Can’t fault em, evolve tackle has some great bits of other tackle as well.

No need to drop lead. Being sold to fishermen to sell more leads. Also lead has been around for hundreds of years everyone is still here id be more worried about the human shite being dumped it the rivers than a lead.

Save yourself some money by not dropping the lead when there is absolutely no fecking need most of the time. The numpties I see dropping every single time on a lake I fish, bottom is gravel all over without a snag in sight and the fish only go to mid 20s. It's just another 'fashionable thing to do' because that's what all the so called experts/companies think it's what you should do while they line their pockets with every fish you catch. Carp fishing has all got ridiculously complicated and full of tackle tarts. Keep it simple, it's cheaper and you'll probably catch more fish.

Sometimes i pva bag. Dont want to be overgunned for the smaller ones and dont want to be undergunned for the big ones. Trying to find a happy medium. Cheers in advance 👍

@gerrardwilliams964 legend thank you Gerrard. Been doing my head in for ages. Currently got some 12ft 3lb soniks and to be fair they're not bad at all for the money but they're too long for the lakes I fish. Im not the type to want a million rods for each occasion so one type that can do it all is spot on. That nash r10 holdall looks amazing too. Everything in one case pretty much

They look nicely finished but massive in size. Rather than wholesale bans I’d prefer to see some data and proper research on say carp waters where there are a higher likelihood of dropped leads. Let’s see how much lead is actually leaching out of fishing weights and have some data about lead content in water. The results might be so insignificant to the point where there might not be a need to ban lead… there is equally the flip side where the levels are high and they are risk to human health. Let’s see the results and have the discussions

Iron comes close to the resisting weight of actual lead on a lake bed. Iron for instance is much better than stone. No joke. I have a list of weight products in correct order. There's even a formula to calculate the actual weight resistente under water of certain products.

Not to happy that lead may be banned. The cost will definitely increase. Same happened to shotgun amo over water. The replacement are not as good as lead. shot cartridges. Lead had been used for hundreds of years for various applications water pipes etc. Will be interested in having a look at the new weights. But maybe a better solution than lead?

Bet you don't have lead water piping in your house... Or maybe you do. Hence your answer. People keep dropping the stuff and it doesn't help the issue. It only leads up to more lead and bigger risks of it going wrong - and certainly to people making comments on political level about it. Have you ever seen a survey of the amounts of lead fishermen lose every year..? It was rediculously much. Kilo's pp.

First of all what’s in the leads if not lead cos it’s difficult to get the weight without lead plus why is it promoted to drop the lead when 99% of the time their no need not to mention the leads covering the bottom of lakes, don’t get me wrong I drop the lead but only when essential fishing for a bite on tricky weedy or snaggy lakes when a few bites a season is the norm

When you’ve finished dipping your hand in your pocket for, moulds, clamps, cooker and gas ( you’ve probably already got those,) wire loops and swivels, coating powder, gloves 🧤…..then see whether you’d sell for 50p each. Chips are actually relatively expensive in my local fish and chip shops. More than £3 for a 'regular' portion and nearly £4 for 'large'. Maybe 3 or 4 potatoes per portion. When you look at the wholesale price of potatoes, many shops are making a decent profit on chips.
