Why is it that carp will go for the fake corn but turtles won't? If you have answered this question, I missed it.

Turtles will but it's less likely because it doesn't the turtles will bite it and because it's rubber they typically don't eat it. I have had turtles bite it off the hair rig in the past but only once.

@@legendaryfishing4362 Sounds like turtles are more picky about what they eat than carp.

@@FrankJamger no more like the carp are very visual feeders and get the hook in their mouths easier. The turtles pick the bait off the hair without ever touching the hook.
