Fishing with Micro Pocket Rod Challenge

Picked up this Profishiency Tiny Pocket Rod Combo from Walmart and was super excited to fish with it. The rod is 20 inches long and came with 3lb line. Had its challenges for sure but definitely had a blast.
What I used to catch the fish-

That's fish is tank size mini bass don't see that too often. One time I got a 2 inch brown trout was so cute mini.

Bought me and my niece one for each of us and i have no clue what im doing but we're learning together 😂 and she thinks they wont work because our first trip we caught nothing, then she went home to Mom's and caught him with one of those little $10 Walmart kid one so she says the one I bought her didnt work
