Hi bro, the whole setup plays apart. From rod to line to lures. The thinner the line, the further it will go but lose the strength. Lure aerodynamics also play a huge role. Some lures got good weight transfer system which could propel the lure further. Very importantly, your rod as well. If you can pair everything according to the specs of the rod, it will do good distance.
