The quest to become the first to catch a Bluefin Tuna off the rocks in New Zealand begins at our depot as we travel 1,600 KMS to Doubtful Sound, Fiordland at the bottom of the South Island. This is by far the biggest mission we've ever done for a fish!

@@cammocammo8848 they just answered that question saying they do theirs we do ours👍👍 I like that these guys do different stuff they don’t get to a spot catch a live bait catch a Kingi then NATO sets up his tent, it’s basically the norm for the lateral line which I love and have seen every episode they have done. I do like variety, I’ve never dived and found Kerry flowers Dive videos which are pretty cool to check out as well

pretty sure only Pete lamb has caught the inky game fish off the rocks in New Zealand before your attempt. was a small yellowfin in the 80s or early 90s. Always the dream aye boys ,epic stuff !!!

I think they’re unusually there at certain times of the year, just not often targeted. They’ve definitely been there in good numbers in recent years and caught as bycatch when targeting tuna.
