@@tides4298 60 and 80 is fine too, I just change to suit the situation, reef country and strong snapper jaws can easily put pay to 60lb, I’ve lost a 20+ pound snapper at the boat that snapped a brand new 10/0 black magic c point hook in half (just got the shank back) my point is if your targeting trophy fish no harm in being prepared to land the fish by any means. My go to is also 60lb but if I’m losing fish or they’re taking me to the reef I won’t be shy to go right up to 100lb and skull drag them right from hook up.
