Most boat companies sell so few boats in Australia that any criticism by a reviewer of a boat can have disastrous consequences. Very rarely in Australia will you see a boat company put a boat up for comparison to a competitor from another boat company. Even private individuals who criticise their own boat on platforms such as KZbin have been sued or threaten to be sued by boat companies.

If it's not mass-produced and built here in OZ surely overhead costs would be low, so why are they 50K?

certainly a really nice boat but might want to rethink the price. being mid to high 30s is a bit over priced for a first boat buyer as mentioned. fully optioned that seems to be a fair price but mid to high 20s maybe low 30s for a 5m boat with no options seems decent. otherwise youd rather go get a 530c or 550c bar crusher 2nd hand for mid 30s. just saying
