Just got back from Alaska for the first time and boy those kenai river sockeye don’t play! Fucking monsters, it was the most insane shit I’ve ever seen 😂 🐟 we were there for the 200,000 fish day 😳 fire ass vid as always my man

What kind of rod and reel do you recommend for this kind of salmon fishing

For myself personally I like to use my steelhead baitcaster rods, sockeye are small. so my 8'6" like 8-12 lb rods or 8-15LB rods. You feel the sockeye fight really well! Tight lines.
