when i was like 10, i had a brand new topwater whopper plopper type lure with 2 treble hooks. i was about to rig it up. i was barefoot. it fell off my desk right when i was moving my foot. i stepped on that sucker. it was absolutely lodged!! in my foot. and the other end was stuck in the carpet. had to have a bunch of anesthetic injected into my foot and had to get the treble hook cut out of my foot. sadly after it was all said and done, i was more let down about the fact i never got to use the lure rather than how much that sucker hurt lol!!! but seeing you pull that out of your shoe just brought back so many flash backs!😂

It's probably the type of rod you're using with simbaits or any trouble hook bait. You want something parabolic, glass rod or composite but need something a lot and long bend. I hope it helps. Keep at it. Ps if you ever get rid of the kgb let me know i never can catch a drop

Hey Smalls, That crappie swim bait is pretty awesome looking. You may want to up size the treble hooks on it. We do that on a lot of glide baits up here in Michigan. It really could be a better way to keep those fish pinned on it. It should also be a great fall bait, when the fish want to try and fatten up for winter. If you ever make it into an area that has northern pike or musky, be sure to use that, but make sure to use a wire leader. I would hate to hear you got a $200 bait bit off by a toothy fish. Anyway, another great video, so keep at it. :)

Your videos are always really entertaining and easy to watch! watched the whole thing except the ad read. Maybe just do the ad read while your fishing. I know it seems less professional but i would watch it if your fishing at the same time. Or you could do cast accuracy competitions for the ads. like a shooting match but with casting instead. hope you didnt take this wrong, just tryin to help. I'm picturing like a gameshow cutaway with the whole "this edition of cast sniper is brought to you by ...."nothing too fancy just make a game out of it. Keep on keepin on.
