Yes, I understand that not many people have access to a CNC machine, however, you could easily get the same results with a drill and a hand held router. Once you decide on a clear spot to put the battery, I would start with the pickguard on the guitar as I did and drill a hole thru the pickguard and down into the body at least 1/8” deep. Then take off the pickguard and put the battery upside down on the body with the usb nub into the hole….. now you can trace the exact pattern of the battery on the taped up body. Grab your router and get at it staying in the lines! Easy peasy! Thanks for watching and hope this helps!
