Pro tip you need to use a thin coat of mayo instead of butter for your grilled cheese. Mayo has a higher burn point, it's never frozen and always spreads evenly. It will elevate your grilled cheese sammiches to a whole new level.

Let me ask you a question Murray. That brioche style bread you used for the grilled cheese, did you like it verses normal white bread because I gotta tell ya, I tried that exact same bread for a grilled cheese and it didnt have the same tiny light crunch you want with a grilled cheese. Maybe there is more fat in the brioche bread, I dont know.

You can make grilled cheese twice as fast by buttering both pieces of bread and setting them next to each other. With a slice of cheese on each one. The cheese will melt better too. Then just fold them together.

I got an idea next time you go out try to fish a minnow with a mortician rig. It’s a high low, but with the mortician rig, the hook could spin around freely and not get tangled up. I think it would help your hook up ratio compared to a Carolina set up. give it a try if it doesn’t work you could always cut it off.

The narrator/camera man is on the other side of Barker's Island from where I used to fish almost every day in summer when I was 12-13-14. We'd catch night crawlers at night then the next day strap our gear to our bicycle frames & ride down to Barker's Island - a little over a mile away- and fish all day. Perch, Northerns, an occasional trout, too many bullheads & sheepheads. Barker's was all forest back then - no houses. If fishing sucked we'd go riding in the woods.
