Great stuff. Not so great regarding the loss of tackle. But we all have days like those. Really enjoyed the video. Glad to see the rain ease off. About hold the pole on a gusty day, back shotting is recommended to me. Placing a couple of number 8's just over half way from the pit to the float, best on a length of 16" to 18". You probably know that, but just in case Congrats on the 2000 subs miles stone. TTFN

Thanks Graham. Yeah I use back shot but not when I’m shallow fishing. Holding the pole pole was the problem I know it doesn’t look like it but on the video but believe me it was hard work. All the best Nosh 👍😀🎣🐒

Congratulations Nosh to you, Hedley and the family on the 2000 subs (we must include the missus cus without her permission you wouldn't be able to fish and we wouldn't be able to watch these 'mighty' videos). You're getting a bit of a following overt thill in t' red rose county, us lads just love em. We are even coming out with things like "We shall see", "Semi-skimmed", See ya soooon" and "Nobody likes to see that", when somebody loses one. We even have our own Mr Incredible, Paste man and Maggot Man (errr, unfortunately, that's me, but I love it). We're still looking for our very own Soz but from what you say, we can't find anyone miserable enough, lol. Congratulations again Nosh, well deserved, well edited and most enjoyable. Thoroughly enjoyed the video as usual. My only comment was when you were struggling holding the pole and feeding at 13 metres. I may of come down a section of pole and fished at 11metre. Do you think that may of made a difference without reducing your catch rate?
