Been talking to another top match man about losing so many fish (without any names), and after going through all the stuff you've already checked, he came up with the most obvious things. Firstly hook sharpness. But I doubt you would over look that one. And secondly, long points ! Personally I've never used long point, but I'm going to get some now, and compare. Anyway, it's good to see you having a reasonable bag full. Must admit, sitting higher in a van help you a look a little mightier than n before.

Yeah cheers Graham like I mentioned on some other comments I really do think I’ve just had a really bad spell of fowl hookers and not quite hooking them properly.Things have been getting much better. All the best Nosh 👍😀🎣🐒

In the market for a 'fishing Van' what yours Nosh? What's the common factor when you lose a fish, apart from you, is it the same hook, rod, distance lost, or bait used?...a mate of mine had the same problem of losing a lot of fish when using bomb n pellet or the method, he altered allsorts then changed the rod and hey presto problem solved...who knows why lol. You will hit on the solution sooner or later, no less annoying in the meantime. Great uploads Nosh.

Mainly lost fish are the fowl hookers. Things are loads better now pal. Van wise mine is the Citroen relay a big van it’s mainly for my business the reason it’s so big. A Vauxhall Vivaro is probably ideal. All the best Nosh 👍😀🎣🐒

Must be the only net handle that bends under a empty net 🤣

Hi, could you please tell me what is the make of your landing net handle ,it looks quite strong?🎣
@fishontvuk3 жыл бұрын
It’s a Maver but a bit bendy for my liking. I have recently invested in a browning hyper. Nosh 😀👍🎣🐒
@johndawson34533 жыл бұрын
Alan, I am not saying you are, but are you tying the bands etc. too close to the hook, when the fish takes the pellet if its too close you could be just pricking the fish and the hook not getting in properly . still enjoyed the vid, john

Thanks John appreciate it and not have the about 2mm away. Things have got a lot better of late. Cheers Nosh 👍😀🎣🐒
