I am glad your videos do not wear out watching them because every night before I go to bed, I watch your videos over & over... and think about Bluegill fishing as I am going to sleep. Your videos, especially the Bluegill videos bring me a lot of pleasure in my life.

I thought maybe that was a redbreast that made ya reel sound like it had a choke hold on it but a copper head blue bream was the problem. Red bream , long eared fight the best and in my opinion are prettiest but who's gonna complain. Makes me wanna go. Nice bream , thanks for sharing.

Go for it. If you don’t have a boat, buy a small HP motor. You can rent a boat very cheaply. If you like it, you can buy a 14’ boat and trailer for about $1200 if you’re patient. My Dad did it this way and we caught thousands of crappie and bream.

You could very easily put a 12 volt battery & 12 volt fan in your boat to give you some relief from the heat.
@FishYanker2 жыл бұрын
Yes sir that's exactly what I'm thinking. I found a rechargeable one and I think I'm fixing to buy it
@richardherrington28522 жыл бұрын
@@FishYanker Many years ago, when our electricity went out during a summer storm, a man hooked up a 12-inch size 12-volt fan to a deep cycle battery so I would have some breeze. It went for days without a recharge on the battery. You could check in your town for 12-volt fans or check on eBay.

I’ve been on a bite of those big shellcrackers lately in the Pearl River system. Makes me giggle like a kid when I’m catching big shellcrackers and bream on simple worms under a cork. Takes me back to my early teenage years fishing from a solid plank pirogue. These 95-100 degree days run me off the water by 9:30 in the morning. Love your videos. 👍

I would love to fish the Pearl River one day. I love bluegill fishing and them red ears shell cracker or super strong. It don't matter how old I get, I still love catching these tough fighting little fish. Not to mention there delicious to eat. Thank you and thank you for watching Hoback River.

I use a 16-oz jig hook size #6 with a 2-in piece of nightcrawler and a bobber. The reason I use a jig hook is because it's easy to grab and hold when removing the hook.

Lower Cache River has good fishing. The Cache River is 209 miles long the further south you go the better the fishing in my opinion. Lots of lakes creeks miles off of the Cache River all different directions. I just get in the Cache River and go up into the creeks and find the small lakes to fish.

Are Bluegills a separate species of fish or the same as Bream? Reason for asking is, in my area I have always called them Bream. First time watching your KZbin channel. Love it!
@FishYanker2 жыл бұрын
Thank you. My dad called them bream but my grandpa knew every single one of their names. Pumpkin seed, green fish, bluegill, spotted, red ear, long ear, red-breasted, dollar sun fish, warmouth, and more. They are all fun to catch. Thank you for watching and commenting. I appreciate it.

is that a lake or river system
@FishYanker2 жыл бұрын
It's a lake feed by the river system. The water height is up and down all the time. Gets muddy then clear. Usually the a big rain changes the height and water clarity.

Hello ! What the name and size of your spinning rod and the name and size of your spinning reel and the name and size and color of your fishing line and the name and size of that floats bobber you used in this KZbin video catching them bluegills. I have a H H storm surge 6 foot medium light 1-pc spinning rod and a Kast king sharky 2 spinning reel size 1000 . I want to go bluegill fishing. What name and size and color fishing line you would recommend me to buy and what name and size floats bobber you recommend me to buy also . I will be using live minnows and live cricket and live night crawler and which size eagle claw hook to buy the #2 are # 4 are # 6 and what size split shots weight to buy for bluegills fishing. Please reply a comment back to me today with all of my questions answer back from you please. May the lord be in your heart to answer all of my questions and may the lord bless you and your family and your KZbin page in 2023. 🙏🙏 can you please make a little more bluegills bank casting for them KZbin videos please.🤙 I’m a 59 year old man from Montgomery Alabama and I love going fishing and I love casting for bluegills and crappies from the bank. hello Timothy. My favorite rod and reel to use is a Abu Garcia Max X10 spinning reel. A Shakespeare micro series 5 ft 6 in Long light spinning rod. I use 6 lb hi-vis Mr crappie fishing line. One to two inch bobbers. And my favorite Hook is a 1/8.oz jig head hook. It is easier to remove the hook from the fish and you can paint the head of the jig red, pink or other colors to draw more attention. My favorite size hook and sinker setup is a #4 or #6 long shank bream hook with a size 5 spilt shot by eagle claw. Good luck on catching them bluegill you are in a good area down there in Alabama. I hope you tear them up this spring and summer. Thank you and God bless you Timothy
