I haven’t played a single minute of this game but I’ve watched hundreds of hours of other people playing (The RunningManZ, M1NDR, and SourSweet in particular). So it’s real interesting to see someone new to the game play it. You haven’t developed your DayZ shuffle moves yet. Always keep shuffling. Standing still for too long is death. Love the vids. In the room with the zombie before hospital, there was a bottle of alcohol for sterilizing rags or wounds. The red tetracyclene will treat blood infection and colds; but colds are survivable and blood infections are not. Better to have alcohol than tetracyclene generally. Press vest is arguably better than plate carrier for protection vs weight ratio. Nice to have storage on vest, but Press vest is gold you cant give up. Also, dont smoke meat; takes longer to cook but you dont lose all the hydration and some calories.

In Livonia, loot DOES NOT spawn in the green watchtowers. In Chernerus, loot does spawn in them. Just a heads up so you're not wasting your time. Only thing about the video that was disappointing is you were heading south, and ended up going back north to the start. You really wanna continue south. Its worth it. Other than that, enjoyed it.

Those explosions are gas bombs fired from off the map and if you see a flare in the sky near you get away asap unless you have a gas mask. Cheers. ps heli crashes are pretty loud if close to character as well.

Yes mushrooms indicate player activity. The condition of the mushroom is how ya can guesstimate how long ago the player was in the area.

If you see fruit by trees, mushrooms on the ground it means a player was in that general area recently. They spawn based on player activity. Also the really big apartments are not worth looting.

I just came from console to PC but not paid for Liv dlc yet on PC. On console no fruit spawned in under trees on Liv map...now I must discover if it is different or PC my guys!

So, I love DayZ. I've been watching this game evolve from the beginning. And, I prefer third person (unpopular, I know). 2 reasons. I like seeing the character do schtuff. Simple as that.
