put stones on forge, every stone gives 1 iron fragment. 5 fragments give 1 iron ingot, your iron fragments will stack in 5 make sure you put stack of 5 or it will sit in forge all and do nothing

If you are going to do a series you might want to play on the beta branch as the Dev has made some nice QOL changes there that have yet to go to live branch. The only problem you may have to deal with is figuring out when to use shift mouse click, alt mouse click or cntrl mouse click, but you'll eventually get it. Not only can you disable the mean people, you can also keep them in game but lower their hit points if you have trouble with combat. The dev gives you control of pretty much everything including length of seasons so you don't have to rush to face winter.

I think Daniel Craig has made a great Bond for this generation, but I'll forever recognize Pierce Brosnan as the true Bond because I grew up during his era. Sean Connery was a legendary Bond as well, tho I was born in '93 so I remember watching his Bond movies but they were a little before my time lol.

Fisk, try smelting stone on the forge.... you get 1 iron fragment per stone..... but 5 fragments in a stack you can make 1 Iron Ingot.... also the white circle around the bottom of teh campfire and the forge is your fuel, adding more will just waste fuel and not give longer than the time you get when it's maxed.... 1 iron and 1 lead makes steal btw

You can smelt stones into iron fragments and 5 fragments smelt into 1 ingot. Also you need to make the shield to go to the poi's. You should look into making clothes before winter. It's brutal. It's better to have a few furnace to speed things up aswell the early part is a bit grindy.

couple tips, smelt rocks, make storages for your loggs/sticks/firewood, put out fires with dirty water when done with them, find aluminum and make extra canteens asap, and most POI towns have 1-2 blueprints which is how u unlock teck.

I haven't been able to play this game since an update months ago (before the ATV or trader were introduced.) But I have been following it while I try to manage the budget to update my rather outdated PC. I would suggest for close quarters, you use a spear (you can also throw the spear, but of course you'll have to retrieve it) for hunting and halfway safe dealing with the hostiles, a bow and arrows would be best, but you'll need to make a quiver to use the bow effectively. This will require animal hide, which I believe you can still only get from animals larger than birds and frogs, when processed on a butcher table. You can harvest large animals without the table, but get limited resources from them. 10:59-11:07 the sound you heard indicates a raccoon was nearby. This i think is the smallest animal capable of providing liver and possibly hides on a table. You'll only get a small amount of meat from them without a table. Raccoons will also steal unprotected food you are drying on a rack or cooking by a fire if given the chance. And on throwing a spear or using arrows, aim for the head of anything raccoon size or larger. Otherwise animals will either charge and attack you or run away, carrying your arrow or spear with them, if you lose track of them, it is hard to find them again. The infected, on the other hand, well, they're going to try to kill you, best to headset them so they don't close the distance or throw things at you.

Tip. Make 3 saw benches, 5 of the little smelters n put your fire next to the water for cooking water so you don’t have to run back and forth. You need to prepare for winter as fast as you can. Don’t get caught out 😂

@Fisk if you make a bunch of forges and smelt regular rocks you get iron fragments. Stack 4 or 5 fragments together and smelt the stack into an actual iron ingot. A little tedious but no venturing into unknown caves hoping nothing has taken up residence lol and in the long run faster because of travel time. You could start a bunch of rocks smelting and go hunting. BBQ your kill while smelting the full ingots. 🎉

Hi Fiskypoo!! If they didn't change it, you can put rocks in the forge/furnice and melt that into iron fragments. 5 fragments makes 1 iron ingot. Usually put two or three forges down to get the iron ingots going. Would love to see you attempt this game further. ❤😂😂😂❤
