I love when sci-fi do the "Hey this glowing orb of energy... let's fuckin go stick a human and some animals in it and see what happens" even more so when it involves older than dirt ancient ruins that most movies, books, and games have told us NOT mess around with. Humans love to press the big red "Danger, Do not press" button after all :)

This game has been getting a lot of attention lately, just goes to show how badly people want another scifi survival game like Subnautica, even without the water. Which is what I've been saying FOR YEARS and yet every friggin survival game is an unimaginative clone of forest, island or snow survival. Penkura is definitely unfinished but it shows promise, I just hope the dev adds controller support someday.

I miss Stargate too, man. Unfortunately, it was a casualty of streaming. Netflix killed the dvd market and producers relied on dvd sales to cover the costs of a show like Stargate. That's why TV sucks these days, bad writing aside, streaming isn't conducive to quality TV, there's no competition.
