I have one, and a great bit of kit it is. Mine also came with the pruning saw attachment, which is very useful for thicker branches.

Instead of sliding the orange handle, can't you just pull the orange ball at the bottom?

You can cut that neighbors phone line as well.

@@GreentopLandscapes no worries. With the length I just pictured cutting the phone line of that pesky neighbor....by accident of coarse

I would have liked to have seen this used to cut the thicker branches. This is the 2nd review clip I have seen of the UP86, and both demos have only shown thin twigs been cut?? I have seen the later model for sale online, the UPX86. I have not established what the difference is as yet . I understand it costs just under £90. For that price I would want it to slice through 30mm dia branches almost effortly. Let us know your thoughts guys. Thank you for your own demo Johnboy.

Hello, did you find out if it cuts larger branches easily and if any newer models were better? Thanks.

@@GreentopLandscapes hello did you make another video showing this tool cutting larger branches? Sorry I couldn't find one if you did and I also have some trees to cut back Kind regards 😊

6 months on and no confirmation on whether or not this tool can actually cut 30mm diameter branches. It is not a difficult test, but I guess it is not up to the job. I'm out.
@rebelfox56303 жыл бұрын
@@martinytube 25mm is the thickest so far I have tried. The thicket the branch, the more brute force is needed but it certainly cut through a 25mm very healthy looking conifer branch.

Howvis it different than happy pulley rope loper?
@GreentopLandscapes4 жыл бұрын
not sure
@hazmat5749 Жыл бұрын
The rope goes up inside the tube so it doesnt tangle up in the branches. Also you can adjust the angle of the cutter which is really useful for the top branches.
@wayneessar74899 ай бұрын
You can adjust the angle of the head unit to make more accurate cuts especially when you are right under the work. The fixed head version of pole pruner works better if your off to the side but then you must support more of the weight of the tool.
