I appreciate that it’s design is the anti-Tesla. That’s why I plunked down the 5K when I received my invite to purchase the One. And the range is (expected to be) more than sufficient for the price and bevy of fancy features.

I like the price point and it looks good, aggressive, doesn’t look like a classic SUV or CUV. I also like the colour options. This vehicle is going to be a hit if they can make enough of them and their quality control is good.

For an EV for less than £40k its a serious contender for my next car and avoiding the £40k UK luxury car tax too!. My current vehicle will be 3 years old in May 2024. Hopefully this would have hit the UK market by then.

Let us face it. Battery tech is the future and here to stay. I think most people today who buy EVs are not as interested in saving on gas as is the lure of new tech and something fun and different. This seems fit that category 100%, and the sport price point is comparable to many of the same-size gas cars, especially after you consider the tax credit. My biggest concern is the reliability of a new brand and how the warranty works, assuming that I could even find someone in the southeast to work on it if there is an issue.

EV is the future but not at the time frame that Democrats are pushing. 1. EV’s cost on average the same as the average family makes per year for the lower end models. The tax credits are not enough to offset this huge increase, just cause you have the privilege to buy one doesn’t mean the average American can. 2. Majority of people do not own homes and not all homeowners are going to pay to install a charger. I live in an”luxury” apartment complex in the middle of Houston where there are 2 EV stations for almost 600 apartments. 3. Recharge rate is too slow, I take road trips and drive for work all day long. I don’t have 40 minutes to waste when I can refuel in just 5 and get 350 mile range. 4. We don’t have the infrastructure and nowhere near it, California embarrassed themselves last week because of this. You tell people one week they will need to switch to EV’s and the next you tell them not to charge them because the grid can’t handle it.

I feel the con is the pricing of add ons . The cars are advertised from a fixed amount . Regardless of choice there is no discounting of those add ons when you are paying a higher base price. Configuration of the cats if you can get around less than $10,000 you are doing well . To me it’s a little misleading because you add on the extras and you pay the same price regardless of trim

I was surprised at how poor the Fisker customer service is for such a new brand. I asked a specific question about warranty terms and conditions, they replied but didn’t actually answer my question. Then their survey came for if my question was answered satisfactorily, I replied no, it gave the option for a follow up so I said yes and after that no response. Come on Fisker if anti corrosion warranty terms are poor please be honest and not try to skirt around it.

Für was macht Fisker eine Reservierungsliste, wenn dann sowieso zuerst der One dann der Extreme und erst dann die günstigeren Modelle produziert werden. Am Anfang wurde das anders kommuniziert. Fisker verärgert mit dieser Herangehensweise manche/viele Kunden, auf jeden Fall bin ich sauer, dass nun Personen mit der dicken Brieftasche bevorzugt werden.

While this is a great review of a car that has tons of appeal, it doesn’t address a lot of questions regarding family use. By that I mean driving with children in the car, with dogs in the car (the doggie window does not work to leave your pets in the car when you run in to do an errand) and doing a grocery shopping. In other words car seat anchors, Tesla-equivalent "dog mode", and cargo space for groceries. Can we please hear about features like that?

Not made in the USA will not qualify for the new tax credit. Looks great but this car is not even in production yet so cannot be honestly reviewed. Anyone putting a $5,000 non-refundable deposit is taking one big chance ! I would bet $5,000 that the price will end up higher.

I like the design overall. A couple nit-picks, though. I don't care for the fake-grills many EVs have. Also, I feel the Ocean could have been sleeker Also, if they had NOT made the side cargo windows powered, they could have kept those lines sleeker. I'm also not a fan of the huge screen. It disrupts the nice lines of the dash. ... Also, not a fan of a couple of their features. "California Mode" is pretty pointless to me. As is the revolving screen. ... All that said, we're ordered an Ultra (the middle trim line).

I wondered about the need for this screen- BUT as a trick to pass charging time for someone like me who is a courier and will be spending a fair amount of time inside the vehicle whilst not even driving. Idk but that’s my theory and how it works for me. 🤷 -Jacob (I am one of the lucky One edition 5000.)

@@billpulido Lucky you! We're quite far from any metro area so I doubt I'll have the chance to see one in person before picking ours up. I've seen reports from other folks who have seen the pre-production cars, and they universally said the car looked quite nice. ... Personally, (based on photos at least) I like the looks of the Ariya a bit more. But I'll more than happy to use the Ocean as our daily driver.

@@sridharl6528 I use it everyday. It's extremely useful to put food in there so the food doesn't stink up the car. And if outside is warm your food will stay warm 😜 Once you park the car or open the door the icon is right there on the screen. If you forgot to open it after getting out the car , whip out your phone and open it with your phone.

Having an affordable Car that will be limited in numbers is the STUPIDEST thing a Car maker could ever make. Limited Car quantities are applied to very Expensive Cars that are not meant to be made for just everyone. If anyone buys this Car now the repair process will be a nightmare because of how limited Units are out there. The Car parts will be ridiculously expensive for an affordable vehicle. Its just straight pointless. I like the Car but the limited number availability makes you wonder how serious are they really taking this Car in the long run.

The centre touch screen is outrageously large. The open cupholders are super tacky. Why do I think that electric door handles will be a source of technical problems?They are a frequently malfunctioning part in other automobiles. So many parts, being motorized and electrically driven, seems to hint at future malfunctions and issues, at least to me. Give me a Nissan leaf any day...
