The Astoria is one of the oldest clubs on the British Columbia boxing scene, and its colourful history is filled with triumphs and tragedies. While struggling to survive in a changing society, the club must not only train young people into champions but also guide them through the dangers of life outside the ring.

I remember Dave and his older brother Andrew Schuck from the Astoria club in the late 80s. I went to the Western Canadian Summer Games with Andy in 1990. Good guys the Schucks.
